In 2014, the UK-based animator Chris Olsen began to work on his side project Somerville. Later in 2016, he and Dino Patti, the co-founder who announced his departure from the indie studio Playdead (Limbo, Inside), sought collaboration. Together, they founded JUMPSHIP.
And now, we have the official release of Somerville. It is a narrative-driven sci-fi adventure game where the protagonist has to reunite with his family, in the wake of a global catastrophe.
Somerville launches on November 15 for PC and console.
