This RPG-styled hero collector is easy on the eyes but hard on the wallet
There's no end to the number of hero collectors out there, with quality ranging anywhere from the pretty darn good to the why did I waste my time playing? Ezetta Prophecy falls right in the middle of this scale. It took me a while to really get into this one, and ittedly, the beginning was slow, but once I got into it, It was pretty fun. The graphics here sell it for me, as Ezetta Prophecy is filled with colorful animations and vivid backgrounds. The variety of enemy types kept me entertained as well. Everything you'd find in your standard collector is here, kill the monsters, get the loot, and collect more heroes. The best part of Ezretta Prophecy was the dungeons. Once you can start exploring these areas, the game picks up, but getting to that point was a massive test of patience.

The real-time combat made the strategic element more noticeable than the traditional turn-based system I've experienced in many other hero collector games. This made the gaming experience more enjoyable overall for me, but with that said, it felt a bit grindy. If I wanted to skip the grind, I could always pay money for more heroes and equipment, so Ezetta Prophecy felt like it had some PTW elements. But the real kicker for me was the slow gameplay. Everything from the dialogue to the combat movement on my Android device lagged a few seconds, and it didn't help that the pacing felt a bit off in the first hour of gameplay.

Ezetta Prophecy is worth checking out if you want to experience something visually impressive with fantasy world elements. The strategic gameplay will keep you coming back for more, but be aware of the PTW monetization strategy that'll rear its ugly head if you don't feel like spending hours grinding for loot.
