Bright Reappear - An INTERESTING & UNIQUE Match 3 Experience!

Bright Reappear is a portrait style match 3 style adventure mobile game. The game introduces you to some small lore before you begin the game, explaining that in the beginning humanity and other beings lived in peace and there was only peace for many years.

They had no regard to the darkness since peace had lasted for so long. But when the darkness came and covered the whole world, humans and other beings fought back, trying to regain the light. However whether or not the light will return is up to you. Gameplay wise Bright Reappear comes off as an retro style pixel art adventure game, since I was going into the game blind, I had no idea it was a match 3 style game to begin with.

You have to match up the swords for attacks, books to replenish your action skills and the green potions are to replenish health. The things I found really interesting with the match 3 combat was that you can move more than one tile in one direction as long as you have the action skills to allow for it. This can make some moves to be quite impactful if you plan them out right.

And while the green potions do replenish your health, they also replenish over your main health bar. Allowing you to store excess health over time. This can come in handy on boss fights if you’re taking a lot of extra damage. The game can also be sped up, up to x2 speed. Something I learned a bit late in the game. But I’m glad I did find it because I was starting to feel like the standard speed was really slow.

While I’m not always a fan of match 3 games, this one was definitely a lot more interesting than the ones I’m used to seeing. I love the adventure style aspect of the game and how you can choose different heroes as well as pick up loot for your hero to wear. It all adds an extra layer to a simple match 3 game. And I really like that. Visually I’d say that Bright Reappear has a lovely pixel art aesthetic and I especially thought it was cute how the warrior hero was a big panda man. It was very cute.

The monsters seem interesting too. A pretty nice overall visual experience for this game. I think you will enjoy the visual side of this game for sure. Overall I’d say that Bright Reappear is a really nice twist on the standard Match 3 games that are already out there. If you enjoy the match 3 style games or even if you don’t and just want to try a match 3 game for the first time, you should definitely consider this one since it’s not the same as what you will usually find out there.
