I can't wait for Persona 5 Tactica even with the goofy chibi character models

When Atlus revealed Persona 5 Tactica at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, it caused a bit of a stir among the Persona fan base. On the one hand, it's a new Persona game, and that's awesome! On the other, a lot of fans weren't totally sold on the super-deformed chibi style for the new character models in this spin-off.
Well, I can't speak for any other fans, but speaking for myself, I cannot wait.
For one thing, the chibi aesthetic isn't actually new when it comes to Persona spin-offs. The awesome Persona 4.
Even if that doesn't change your mind, though, there's reasons to be excited. For example, did you know this is the first time a console spin-off of a Persona game has actually been developed by P-Studio internally? Not only that, but when Persona 5 Tactica releases on November 17, 2023, it will be the first simultaneous worldwide release for any Persona series game. Hopefully that means future titles (like the inevitable Persona 6) might get a simultaneous worldwide release as well!
But if you really can't deal with the new look for characters like Joker and Panther, you can always hold out for the mobile spin-off, shaping up to be pretty sweet as well. What an awesome time to be a Persona fan!

I love persona 5 but I’m a true persona 5 player. I don’t play goofy stupid games of it like this. I prefer the real ones. Persona 3 was my favorite.
