F1 Manager 2023 - Overly COMPLICATED & Super CONFUSING

F1 Manager 2023 is a super complex game, definitely not for the faint of heart, or for those who have no ion for F1 racing management games.

There is so much to manage in this game, the gameplay is so technical, from adjusting the tires, to the training of the pit crew and even sitting there watching 57 laps on the grand prix racing day, and having to help with the car adjustments if it needs to go into a pit stop.

This is all very interesting if you're a lover of this sport and understand the technicalities of this game or of how to manage a F1 team, but if you're not a racing car enthusiast or lover of management games, this could get very tedious super fast. It's all so overwhelming for a novice like myself.

I just can't find much enjoyment out of this game at all. The visuals aren't as good as I would have liked for a racing game either, usually racing car games have very impressive visuals, but I felt that with this game, the graphics on the crew and the racing tracks felt very underwhelming, and the cars looked okay at best.

I wasn't that impressed with the visuals of this game sadly. Audio wise the game was pretty spot on though. There was plenty of commentary during the race with the driver when things went wrong, and the cars sounded good as far as I could tell. There was no missing audio or sound effects, which in a racing game would be a very big deal.

Overall though I found F1 manager to be a very tedious game and super complicated for a new player like myself. I felt like I was dropped into the deep end, even with the minimal tutorial. I had no idea what all the specs meant or what to do, even when I picked the beginner option from the starting menu.

I feel like this was really meant for F1 enthusiasts more than anything else. I can't make heads or tails of most of what I experienced and it really did put a hamper on having much fun in this game.

Will I continue playing this? Definitely not, it's not for me. But if you're a lover of F1 races, and sitting through a seemingly endless amount of laps waiting for a pit stop to get your hands dirty, and to get into the nitty gritty of the specs and your crews schedules and training, then this game might be worth it for you.
