Serve the public trust, protect the innocent, uphold the law in this buzzy new RoboCop game

Games based movies don't have a great track record. Games based on beloved '80s action films? Even sketchier. But against all odds, RoboCop: Rogue City seems like it might actually be great.
It helps that Polish developer Teyon is also known for its work on 2019's one of our editor's favorite Steam Next Fest demos!

Rather than just a straightforward shooter, Rogue City mixes in RPG elements, including a story that changes based off of how you choose to follow the prime directive. In other words, this seems much more interesting and ambitious than the average movie-to-game adaptation.
If you're looking to become part man, part machine for yourself, RoboCop: Rogue City will be available on November 2, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The game will cost $49.99, or you could spring for the $59.99 Alex Murphy Edition, which forty-eight hours of early access, a digital artbook, and some unique weapons and skins.
We'll definitely be jumping in for ourselves, so watch for a quick review from a TapTap editor next week. Your move, creep.

Ok, that Alex Murphy Edition sounds tempting with the early access and unique weapons. It's always a bit risky to pre-order, but in this case, I might just take the plunge. Can't wait to see TapTap's review!
