What a bad take, dude you're literally reading an article from someone that knows nothing about the intricacies of the market and you keeping throwing in the word "Gacha" when clearly it's not even mentioned once in the article. It says "MOBILE GAMES" Gacha is not even exclusive to mobile games. Once in a blue moon I stumbled across this guys videos and they're always riddled with misinformation and just prove how little research you've done. Does anyone even take this guy seriously? seriously? you seriously believe that? I was once a student journalist and still am now, I know a sussy article when I see one, and the one you just read is very very very petty, I want to exaggerate more but you'll probably get offended if I said anything more, forgive this sorry excuse of kid, either way gacha is not ending anytime soon, Big games like Genshin Impact and other Hoyoverse games are still going strong, same goes for the growing big shot like wuthering waves, and that new Gacha game which I forgotten what name it was, a spiderman/GTA like gameplay and a slash of open world and Genshin Impact Gacha on it. I say Gacha is not going anywhere, gacha has been here since we'll... THE BLOODY EARLY 2010's!! Though it's not even thaaaattt long, 14 years have ed and that old gachapon that I used to put 400-500 yen for those hehe Cats... (Well you can't blame a kid for milking out his/her parents wallet, but hey! at least the cat is still here!)
