The campaign is where "Halo Infinite" shines the brightest. Master Chief is back, and this time, the story is more personal, delving into his relationship with a new AI companion, The Weapon, and the lingering mystery of Cortana. The open-world design of Zeta Halo is a refreshing change, offering players the freedom to tackle objectives in any order. The environment is vast and varied, with plenty of secrets to uncover, making exploration rewarding.

The gameplay mechanics are tight and responsive, with the new Grappleshot adding a layer of verticality and creativity to combat. The campaign successfully balances nostalgic moments with fresh ideas, though the story can feel a bit fragmented at times, especially for newcomers to the series.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is a love letter to fans of the original games while incorporating modern elements to keep things fresh.
