Story 8/10_ good story, deep and complicated lore with timeline, nation, politics, science.... But it tell though text and cg. If you like reading lightnovel you may love this, but if you more familiar with the 3d model l and cutscene then the story just make your eyes hurt with wall of text that take 15' to read though.
Gameplay 8/10_ like all tower defend game, keep the enemy from enter your base. The character in game model is chibi sprite, skill effect is detail. There also a lot of mechanic to make the game more challenge.
Soundtrack/Bgm 9.9/10_ almost every high rarity character have their own song, the bgm in game also fantastic. Sometimes I wonder if the song/bgm is the main content >×<

for me the story is 10/10 both the main story and the side story but you are right the depiction of the story in it depends on how we imagine it like how we read a light novel
