INTRODUCTION

I play Lara Croft: Guardian of Light for some time now, and I want to share my experience. I not good at English, but I try my best to explain. This game is different from other Lara Croft games I play before. It is not big open world like other Tomb Raider games, but more like adventure with puzzles and fighting.

MY FIRST FEELING

When I start the game, I see it look very old style but still nice. The camera is not behind Lara like normal, it is from the top. At first, it feel strange, but after playing some time, I get used to it. The graphics are nice, and the world looks like a real ancient place full of secrets.

The sound is also good. The music make me feel like I am in an adventure. Sometimes, when I explore, there is no music, only sounds of nature, which make the game feel more real.

GAMEPLAY

This game is not just about running and shooting. It is also about solving puzzles. Some puzzles are easy, some are very hard. I spend long time thinking how to some parts. Sometimes, I feel frustrated, but when I solve it, I feel very happy.

The game has many enemies, not only people but also monsters. Lara has guns, bombs, and a spear. The spear is useful because you can throw it at walls and jump on it. This is a very interesting idea, and I like it. The combat is fun but not very hard. You can move fast and shoot, so enemies don’t feel too dangerous.

One thing I really like is co-op mode. You can play with a friend, and the game change when you do. Some puzzles need two people to solve, and this make the game more fun. But I mostly play alone, and it is still good.

OVERALL

The game is not too hard, but some puzzles are tricky. If you don’t like thinking, maybe you will feel stuck in some places. The fighting is not too difficult, so the game is more about adventure and puzzles than action.

The game is also not too long. I finish it in some hours, but there are secret things to find if you want to play more.

GOOD THINGS (PROS)

❌ Short game – It is not very long, maybe 5-6 hours.
❌ Camera angle is strange – It takes time to get used to it.
❌ Some puzzles are too hard – You may feel stuck sometimes.

I enjoy playing Lara Croft: Guardian of Light. It is not like other Tomb Raider games, but it is still fun. If you like puzzles and adventure, you will like this game. But if you want big open world, maybe you will not enjoy it much.
