NieR Re[in]carnation

Pros: - Beautiful and intricate structures, with fixed path to reach from the beginning of each chapters to the end. Every chapters has different sceneries and all of them are beautiful on its own. - Superb music, lore, and characters designs and background (as expected from Yoko Taro). - Hard pity after 200 pulls with each 10x multi costs 3k gems. Hard pity token cant be carried to another banners meaning you need to prepare enough gems to have enough pulls to reach it. I was able to gather gems equivalent to hard pity after 4-6 months. F2p friendliness wise, its borderline acceptable.

Keep in mind that this game is still in development, i mean by the story and content. So far we got 2 seasons now and it is definitely getting better. I might improve the rating later, just make the game smoother pls. edit: I'll give it a proper review now. Gameplay People have called this game a walking simulator but I don't think it is. It's almost like a semi open world game. The world is really amazing as you would expect nier games is. There are puzzles and stuffs you could interact. Some updates made it so you can go back to a certain point to find items and other stuffs. The combat system is something like a turn based game but with some real time aspects which is interesting but irrelevant when you get to a certain point.

As stated in the title, this game does a fantastic job in of story writing and music. The auto combat gameplay may make this game a bit niche, but it suits me well since Im mostly busy with my work. Updates and events come regularly to help you get freebie, hope the game gets more attentions in the future.

I just think that an Nier gacha game could've worked out well but this doesn't cut it at all, in fact, it just seems to prioritize on milking the players hardcore. I haven't seen anyone talked about this game in multiple social media platforms since the week that it was released, I wish this game could've been better. The only good things about this game was the music, some of the story, and the character designs but everything else just seemed scattered all over the place, especially the PvP. I forgot to review this game considering I played the whole week when it was released. I stopped playing the game but I was going to get back into it whenever it improved a lot thus I've been stalking the game until today that I officially uninstalled (even deleted my data) it even after 120+ hours of playing the game. The only thing that kept me going was 2B and A2 but I just couldn't play it anymore. I really hope we will never get another gacha game for the Nier series ever again. Just to let you know, this isn't from an F2P player perspective, I spent over $2k+ on my main gacha games that I'm currently still playing for almost 2 years now which are Arknights and Azur Lane, if this game was phenomenal, I would've spent hundreds of dollars but the game is really terrible overall.

Nier Reincarnation is an interesting set piece that allows you to bring the world of Nier into the palm of your hand. Reincarnation contains a ton of Auto Battling and the world isn't as massive as it could have been even for a mobile game. Many of the paths are a single direction and even if you turn Auto off during battle sequences, you do not have full control over your characters. It is cool that this Nier title is different from the others but I can't help but think that this was a missed opportunity to create a very story focused game with a beautiful world to match it but with a battle system that rivals those such as Honkai Impact and Punishing Gray Raven since the two games have battle systems that compliment the NieR setting so well. This is a horrible game that had the potential to be fantastic if it held true to the original formula of previous NieR Games instead of turning it into Auto play garbage. Auto Battling has taken away from the experience that would've make this game one of the best mobile games on the market.

Kinda wished this game has the offline version. But, yep. Probably nope. :'3

Unfortunately, they have shut down the server in April this year, thus the game is no longer playable

why this game has been shut down??

Why every good game like this need to shut down.
