One of its best perks so far is that it is f2p as I just only started level 10 and I have made 2 decks without having to buy the structure decks they provide and spend gems on unnecessary cosmetic pixels in the shop lol. However, the game caters to competitive players as you don’t get rewarded for playing in casual matches and everybody and their momma’s use Meta decks but regardless I’m fairly enjoying my game experience and would def recommend players giving it a go.

Again, would have been perfect if it were easier to attain cards in game.(by this i mean after the "honeymoon" phase for new players wears out) However this one is more accessible than duel links in some aspects as although it is undoubtedly the more complex of the two, it has more variety, and no anime characters and abilities if those aspects weren't to your liking. Master duel still has good visuals and is a more pure experience with banger after banger soundtracks and storylines. (that are albeit boring to go through in of actual gameplay) it's fairly new compared to DL so its still catching up with regards to events and polish.

I longed for a YGO game like this since I was a kid. Being able to find and play with other players without having to physically seek them out is a godsend. Growing up in my area, you ran the risk of outing yourself as a “weeb” and getting bullied. This feature is still a godsend in the Covid era. Another great part is being able to collect cards without needing to spend actual money. My parents were too poor to give me an allowance and my mom wouldn’t have let me spend it on trading cards if we did.

A game that represents in a dignified way the history of Yu-Gi-Oh. The game design has a very polished finish, very well optimized even on inferior phones. The gameplay portrays the anime's history well and has a huge variety of decks. I loved the soundtrack. The pack system encourages me to play, to look for new cards. And most importantly, the characters were faithfully portrayed in the game, I'm loving playing it.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is Konami throwing its hat into the free-to-play digital card game space, sizing up to the likes of Magic The Gathering: Arena, Pokemon Trading Card Game Online, and Legends of Runeterra. And it's going in hard, with full cross-play and cross-progression across every platform it's released on, 10,000 cards at launch, and an impressive solo mode. While Yu-Gi-Oh! has had video games before, they've always been an adaptation of the anime and manga, rather than the trading card game. The game places the focus on the cards themselves, providing what feels like the purest way to play the card game online we've ever had.

I 've played for hundreds of hours. Here's my review Cons: +) There were many bots, sometimes the game suddenly crashed and I just lost. +) Not a lot of events, not a lot of new cards, new contents, which makes the game kinda boring. +) Because there are no new cards, the meta is stale. I hate seeing the same Swordsoul, Zoodiac Tri-brigade, Eldlich every single days. I wish the game had some kind of casual mode or bounty system so that people would change in a while. I want to see new, interesting archetypes and probably some "back and forth" between players, not an endboard full of monsters and traps, ready to negate every single cards.

This game is fun to play online multiplayer. but the claim that it can be run offline is a big lie, in fact the game must be connected to the internet or it can't be run. at least there is an offline mode, local multiplayer and online at the same time it's better than just having an online mode option. IMHO

It's been like 1 month? Since mobile released I played over than 110 hours cuz I love the game that much •The graphics and animation are godly •The BGM is freakin godly and banger •Story mode is interesting and some have some useful rewards •Free to play friendly, you can make the top 1 deck in just an hour of grind and make your way to plat 1. The only downside is the time it takes for some decks to finish their combo is hella boring but still pretty decent game.

it runs smooth on console but buggy on mobile.... mobile version gonna need some patches.. The game overall is everything a TCG player would mostly want...I was a duel links player.... and all I really care about is the decks, AND THIS GAME HAS WAY MORE STRUCTURED/ARCHETYPES deck than duel links.... I've shifted from duel links to this..... only problem is the mobile version functionality..
