But then the Dragon appeared, sowing terror throughout the land. Valiantly, the kingdom fought, claiming narrow victory. Grievously wounded, the Dragon fled. Thenceafter, the years ed, and people again knew peace. Until the Dragon returned. I learned recently that I should have played this one first!

Lol, it's too late to check the arrangement of VoC games just to see that this Isle of Dragon roars should be first to play and you'll be able to understand the storyline. I started from the last part -- Beast of Burden! Could you imagine my confusion? Still, hands down to this wonderful game! I have never enjoyed such a wonderful game other than this.

I got bored a little bit during the introductory speeches

Given that this game is the first one in the chain of VoC, it's expected that almost all the game instructions are presented. Since it almost took more than 5 minutes for the whole introduction to finish, I got a little bored and just skipped the whole part. Lol. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it and look forward to trying the other VoCs.

VoC: The Isle Dragon Roars - An AMAZING Continuation Of This Table Top RPG Story

VoC: The Isle Dragon Roars is the first Voice of Cards series and it really is pretty impressive. Gameplay wise this game follows off pretty closely from where the free prequel left off. But you do replay the end of the dungeon with the original team from the prequel, which I thought was kind of annoying. Especially since I had already done all the dungeon stuff before, but thankfully its a lot shorter in getting to the new content. And it does have a pretty nice intro with a nice song attached to it. I was actually pretty surprised when I found out that the original team you played during the prequel was NOT the team you actually play in the main game. Instead you have a brand new team of would be heroes and the team from the prequel turn out to be very arrogant and rude towards you. Though I guess it makes sense to be a new team entirely, since the prequel team are already established heroes, and are very strong.

Square Enix’s Card RPGs Voice of Cards Series Are Out Now on iOS and Android

A new card-based RPG called Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars was published by Square Enix in late 2021 for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It was developed by some of the NieR and Drakengard team . Yosuke Saito, Keiichi Okabe, Yoko Taro, and other people were among them. Since then, Square Enix has published two additional games, the most recent of which, Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden, came out in September 2022. I enjoyed all three of them when I played them on the Nintendo Switch, and I even purchased the first one on Steam. The Voice of Cards Trilogy was unexpectedly made available on iOS and Android today by Square Enix (via Gematsu).

I'm so overwhelmed by the voice actors~

The first time I heard the voice actors in this game, I knew from that instant that this game would be one of my VoC collections. The strategy and gameplay kept me playing this one for hours. Somehow, the strategies I use contradict the other VoC games I've tried.
